A Postcard From Irene

While traveling through Africa last year, I was fortunate enough to meet Malcolm Ainscough. He is truly amazing, there is no better tour guide and no bigger champion of Zimbabwe. How could I not fall in love with a place where you get to wake up to lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and zebras? Once I returned home, I wanted to find a way to help the beautiful land that had given me so much joy and I finally have. I'm so excited to offer these gorgeous placemats I found while traveling, available to purchase online and at our Melrose Place flagship, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting The Jafuta Foundation. 

Based in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, the foundation devotes the entirety of their donations to initiatives working with rural communities, culture, education, wildlife, and conservation in the region. The proceeds from our sales will be used to improve clean water access and provide young women with personal care education and necessities so they may have the opportunity to pursue their education uninterrupted.
