ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Our mission at Irene Neuwirth is to create a more accessible online experience for our team, our clients, and our visitors.
One in four adults in the United States has a disability that impacts their ability to interact with the online world. At Irene Neuwirth, we strive to ensure that everything we create or add to our website is usable by people of all abilities.
Accessibility at Irene Neuwirth
We have structured our website to help visitors of all abilities easily and efficiently find the information they need.
Ongoing Efforts to Ensure Accessibility
Our website follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 Level AA success criteria (and where possible Level AAA) and the latest ICT Refresh (Section 508) guidelines as they apply to web content. These guidelines include internationally recognized accessibility standards and the ICT Refresh (Section 508) compliance criteria, which provide a wide range of recommendations and best practices for making digital content more accessible to people with disabilities and supporting alignment with ADA accessibility expectations. As new content and pages are added to our website, we apply these guidelines to our design, development, and content processes.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. As technology evolves and new content is added, we continue to evaluate and improve the accessibility of our website to support an inclusive experience for all visitors.
Testing of our website is performed by accessibility specialists using industry-standard tools such as AXE Accessibility, WAVE, NVDA Screen Reader, Colour Contrast Analyser (CCA), browser extensions such as HeadingsMap for verifying page structure, and keyboard-only navigation techniques.
